Responsiveness of Rit Spirits
I've notived this from time to time when laying down pain and bloodsong, but sometimes they just won't attack. They'll sit there lookin ugly and not bein useful at all to me. Then sometimes they will attack my target and other times they won't. And then sometimes they'll attack only when I attack and sometimes they'll take the initiative. Make them a little more predictable please, so that we can actually develop a strategy for using them properly. I've only noticed this in Aspenwood and PvE areas though so I don't know if it's a location problem.
And before anyone asks, yes they were well within wanding range when they weren't attacking. I know because the warrior was busy turning me into swiss cheese dammit.

perhaps a terrain issue prevented them from hitting the target?
Or maybe you just occasionally have a graphical glitch which prevents your comp showing the attack animation.
Or maybe they are bugged and need sorting. You'd have to do a few tests and check the situations that they do/dont work in.
Also maybe post this in a BUG thread to get some notice?

This always happens to me when I have ashes in my hand. The henchies do the same thing. If you fire your wand at a enemy, they all respond. But then as soon as I get the ashes back in my hand, the sometimes break off their targeting as I do.
I consider it a bug, but it seems somewhat intermitent.

I've noticed this several times, everywhere from AB's to elite pve missions.
Sometimes the spirit won't do anything unless I attack a target. Otherwise, they just sit there even with enemies running all over the place (mostly in AB - I gave up bringing spirits in there).
Somewhere along the line I attributed it to another of the same spirit outside of spirit range that's attacking a target (and thus prevents my spirit from attacking).

I always have to call a target or attack to make them attack.
THey should be like minions, and go for the nearest target or at least you last or current target.

Press CTRL + SHIFT + SPACE to call a target if you are holding a item.
